In the morning all pilgrims proceed to the MahaBodhi temple, which is only 5 minutes drive from the Wat Thai for an important occasion i.e. the monks ordaination ceremony.

Offering of flowers

Offering of the Robes by family members to the monks-to-be.

Acceptance of the robes by the samanera's (novice monks). Most of them are below 18 years old.
